How to Register a Blog to Webmaster Tools

Building a blog is not as easy as we imagine, it takes time, thought, and persistence to keep it running optimally. Is that all? The answer is no. Those are just a handful of very important endeavors to pay attention to.

A blogger also needs several steps and separate ways to be able to push an article to be on the first page of Google. One of the many ways that need to be considered at the beginning is to register a blog with Google Webmaster Tools first, so that the blog that you manage and the articles published can be detected by Google.

What is Google Webmaster Tools?

Google Webmaster Tools or Google Search Console is a digital set that is used to collect data from blogs to inform you as the owner of the blog. You can use it to see what is happening on the blog that you manage. That way, you can also analyze and take action for the development of the blog in the future.

How to Register a Blog with Google Webmaster Tools

Registering a blog with Google Webmaster Tools is very easy, it only requires a few steps. Please follow this tutorial to completion and of course I will include a picture to further clarify the registration process.

1. Please enter the new version of Google Webmaster. Click on Search Console

2. You will enter the Select property type page. For more convenience please choose the URL Prefix. Enter your blog URL. Example of a blog URL for Blogger is https://yourblog.blogspot.com/. After that click on CONTINUE

3. Next you will go to the ownership verification page. To make it easier, please scroll down. Use another verification method. Select HTML Tag. Please copy the HTML code. Don't close this page yet. Please open a new tab, go to your blog Dashboard. Select Theme then select Edit HTML

Then in the HTML column, please press ctrl + F to open the search field (top right corner). Please type <head>. Then the text <head> will appear in HTML editing. The HTML code that you copied earlier, please paste it under the <head> code (see image below). After that click Save theme. If there are a lot of <head> code please look for the top one yourself.

4. Next, please re-enter the ownership verification page. Click Verify. Please note, click verify in the HTML Tag column. Not the one above it. more details, see the image below.

5. You will get a notification Ownership has been verified. Your blog is registered with webmaster tools. Next, please click OPEN PROPERTY to view your blog's Webmaster Dashboard

6. Make sure in the top left corner column is your blog URL.

With a verified Ownership notification, your blog is registered with Webmaster Tools. If it fails, it means that there is an error in placing the HTML code in the Edit HTML Theme menu. Please check again.

This is one of the many ways to get your blog and its contents on the first page of Google. This does not mean that your blog is "definitely" on the first page, it all remains on your tenacity in managing the blog.

Easy Ways to Submit Blogger Sitemap to Google Webmaster Tools

Google is one of the number one giant search engines today. With the development of the era of technology and the increasingly widespread internet, business people have moved to take advantage of the facilities that have been provided. Actually, even without submitting the sitemap to the Webmaster, Google can still browse your site. However, it is slower than the registered blog site. Therefore, you must be very clever at seducing Google to fall in love with your blog.

Easy Ways to Submit Blogger Sitemap to Google Webmaster Tools

1. Before submitting a sitemap to webmaster tools, make sure your blog has been registered with webmaster tools. If not, please register first. Here's the tutorial.

2. If you have registered a blog, the next step is to submit a sitemap to Google Webmaster Tools (Google Search Console). Please open the Google Search Console site

3. Make sure the property in the top left corner is your blog url. For more details, see the image below.

4. Then click the Sitemap menu. Please submit one by one the format below and click send. If so, try to refresh it. A success status information will appear. See an example image below.

Note:

The three formats above, you can actually submit one is enough. However, if all three you submit it will be better.
If the status is an error, maybe you haven't made any article posts. Please make an article post first then refresh again.
If you have made an article post it still gets an error, try to wait a maximum of 24 hours.
If it's still an error, try to check again, is it correct when submitting.

* My personal experience, when I already have an article post when refreshed, the status immediately changes to success. However, there are several other bloggers who waited for about 6 hours.

5. A little extra in the fifth point.

If your blog has more than 100 posts and no more than 500 then use the following format to submit the sitemap: atom.xml? Redirect = false & start-index = 1 & max-results = 500
If your blog has more than 500 posts and no more than 1000 then use the following two formats to submit the sitemap: 1. atom.xml? Redirect = false & start-index = 1 & max-results = 500 and 2. atom.xml? Redirect = false & start -index = 501 & max-results = 500
If your blog has more than 1000 posts, use the format above with multiples of 500. how to replace star-index = 1 with the number of max-results = + 1

After you have finished registering your Sitemap with Google Search Console or Google Webmaster Tools, now your blog is more SEO than before. However, it still needs to be considered even though you have registered your blog with webmaster tools that consistently creating article content on a blog is the main key for your blog to be indexed faster by Google.

Then click the Tethering Tools menu, then select Hotshare and click OK
In the Step 2 section of the Hotshare page there is a Start Hotshare button, click the button
After that, Step 3 will appear containing the Proxy ID and Proxy Port
Copy or write down the numbers written on a sheet of paper

At this point, please exit the HTTP Injector application and switch to your laptop or PC. Keep in mind, this VPN tethering method from cellphone to laptop will work if the Proxy ID and Proxy Port are typed correctly in Windows LAN settings.

If the laptop is connected to a Hotspot, then open the Control Panel, select Network and Sharing Center
After that, click Internet Options in the lower left corner of the screen
Then select the Connections menu and click LAN Settings
In the pop up that appears there is a Proxy Server option, check the box "Use a proxy server for your LAN"
Next, fill in the Address column with the Proxy ID and the Port column to be filled with the Proxy Port that you previously noted down
The last step, click Ok and Ok

Now, please open a site that was previously inaccessible to confirm whether the way to connect the HP VPN to the laptop above was successful. Or you can visit the whoer.net site to match the IP address whether it matches or not.

Easy tricks for tethering a cellphone using a VPN to a laptop

Actually, besides HTTP Injector, you can also use Every Proxy or a similar application available on Google Play. However, for now HTTP Injector is more powerful and easy to implement.

For those whose cellphones have continued to be rooted, and are lazy to follow the steps above, you can use the VPN Tethering application which is also on Google Play.

For how, you just have to download the application, open it, and tap the big button in the middle to turn on the VPN. Hotspot will automatically stay connected even though the VPN on the cellphone is active.

What do you do to protect yourself from online fraud or identity theft?

This is a very broad question so I am going to give you what I think are a couple of the easiest most effective things you can do to protect yourself.

The #1 Rule is that you are the best anti-fraud and identity theft system you can buy. An educated user is far more effective than any software.

+THINK! Think twice before entering or submitting any information for any type of offer on-line. If it sounds to good to be true, especially if it is unsolicited it is likely to be a scam. Research any company before you submit information. A website alone is NOT proof a company is real. One example is the recent surge in scam sights targeting job seekers. Prospective employees who are more than willing to enter all of their personal information for an opportunity to get what sounds like a dream job.

+Absolutely do not use the same password for all your accounts. Almost everyone I know does this. This means that one compromised account compromises all of your accounts. Remembering all of those passwords could be a nightmare but there are solutions. Check out KeePass, it is an open source (translate to free and trustworthy) secure password storage solution that you can carry around with on an $8 memory stick from the little bin at the register in Staples.

+Secure your wireless home network. I say again, secure your wireless home network.

+Do not conduct ANY transactions with sensitive information open wireless networks unless you have implemented some sort of secondary security measure such as a secure tunnel through a trusted provider.

+Finally, keep your anti-virus software up to date.

There are many other more complicated things you can do but online security is like security in any other context. There are so many people that are completely unprotected that all you have to do is be a little more protected than the next guy. If your car has an alarm and his doesn't the thief will steal his first.

And DON'T be afraid of the internet. Your bills in the trash can were just as much of a security risk as your cache in your browser. Enjoy the convenience of the digital world but always be wary of predators looking to take advantage of naive newcomers.

What is tracking cookie?

Cookies are just small .txt (text) files that by themselves cannot hurt your computer. Cookies are "set" by almost EVERY web-site that you visit, on every visit. You can delete all your cookies today and by tomorrow you will have dozens again just be visiting web-sites.

Cookies do NOT slow down a computer, at least the first million or so that you might have on your computer!

They are not a virus or spyware, but SOME people consider "tracking" cookies to be an invasion of privacy.

These tracking cookies are "3rd party cookies" from advertising servers. They can track your movements around the web in order to deliver to you customized, targeted advertising.

It all depends on ones personal level of paranoia, whether one considers tracking cookies some kind of threat. Some anti-spyware programs do not even report tracking cookies as even a minor threat.

If these tracking cookies DO bother you AND you are using Internet Explorer for a browser, a simple change of a setting can let you permanently block all 3rd party (tracking) cookies. (Much easier then constantly removing them!) Go to tools > internet options > privacy > advanced > check-mark "override automatic cookie handling" > third party cookies > tick "block" > ok > ok.

Children are about the only people that are always nervous about cookies. Because cookies are an easy way for Mommy and Daddy to find out exactly what their darling 'lil ones have been looking at on the web.

Personally, If I happen to remember it, I will delete my cookies every 6 months or so :)
